Influences come in all sorts of shapes and sizes don't they? Memory lane artists like Etta James, Bill Withers, and Cole Porter. Recent artists like Norah Jones, Alicia Keys, Natalie Merchant, Kathleen Edwards and Canada's own Jann Arden and Diana Krall. Then there are those that have the "edge" and make you glad you can play an instrument, like Keane, Coldplay, The Killers, and The Fray.
It's not only artists that shape the way you think, feel, compose and play. Things like nature, friends, lovers, God, family, circumstance and raw emotion play an incredible part.
As much as we love to play the creations of others, we have a need to compose our own music. - express our own experience and circumstance. Have a listen to our selections here - we will be changing them up every now and then.

Trish Wales & Company plays clubs, restaurants, wineries, casino's, weddings and summer concerts (regularly at Caesar's Casino Windsor). Trish also performs solo piano venues (regularly at The Pelee Days Inn-Leamington and La Zingara Trattoria-Windsor) and in duet with Phil Shilson, standup bassist.
We are Unique - We are Intimate - We are always striving to be like No Other. Creative originals is our Passion, Spinning covers is our Sideline! You tell us what we are - Lounge? Pop? Adult Contemporary? Folk Rock? Urban? We immerse ourselves in Playing, We soothe our souls in Creating. We bathe in the spirit of wine.
We really don't pay attention to the boundaries of labels. Some cover selections mimic the original artist, some are done 'a la Trish'. ALWAYS expect our originals to dance across a wide scope of genres.
Trish performs sultry solo styling and with a diversely talented gentle-man-band. She is a Singer/Songwriter and a member of SOCAN. Everyone in 'Trish Wales & Company' is a member of the American Federation of Musicians.

Things are going well. I've felt pretty good, am trying to stay active, even won a buckle at Reno, lol. I took the daughter out to pick out her homecoming dress yesterday. Gotta a screaming good deal on a torquoise blue Jessica McClintock dress. It was $175 and we got it for ready for this.....$5.50. She looks like she was poured into it. Now if I can just talk Dallas, the boy she is going with to let me come along, all will be great. My mom is coming back this weekend after a three week decompression and I am back to Loma Linda in two weeks. I pray for you and the Weston, all the time. Much love, Kim
