Trista Hill has been providing central Ohio with live pedal harp music since 1990. In addition to a career as a professional harpist who plays for weddings and other special events, Trista maintains a teaching studio of approximately thirty piano and harp students. She is also a fine artist and Board Certified Music Therapist with an interest in vibroacoustic therapy.
Trista plays events solo and with local musicians, including Nova Madrugada (Roger Hines, Stan Smith, Dan Thress, Ron Hope, and Mark Donavan), and Luceys Maze (Michelle Ishida Lucey, Brian Lucey, Steve Perakis, Doug Carraway, and Tammy Wallace).
Her repertoire includes classical, Brazilian, jazz, and popular selections. Her current focus is performing and composing creative, emotional harp music that draws upon elements of jazz and world rhythms, as well as highlights technical and musical aspects unique to this instrument. Her recording of original compositions is coming soon!
