Soulful lyricist Tristan Clopet got his start in the music business at a young age writing about some of the most thought provoking icons of his youth like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. But the University of Miami alum eventually found more mature topics to write about, got a band called The Juice and is now well on his way to becoming the “Next Big Thing” with his self-described alternative and funk sound.
In their brief one year history, the group has already toured the US, performed in the Florida Grammy Showcase , appeared on the CBS Morning Show and flown to the UK to open for Sony platinum recording artist Sandi Thom. Their sophomore EP, Purple, will be released on January 7, 2010 from Sussex Recordings. (Miami.com)
