In October 2006, Gariept came to complete Tristerra, the project started a few time before by Tenebre and Belpheq. With varied influences, but with a similar academic training, all of us have put our sign in Tristerra. So, the solid support of this project results from several contrasted topics in equilibrium: melancholy and anger, disappointment and rebellion force. It could be a good mix between peace and brutal energy feelings pointed out in smooth and intense ways; we hope. The lyrics are very intense too, talking about death, desolation, enslave, power hungry, through the psychological, politic, religious crisis, and others, what these lyrics generate themselves, finally, rising a critic, ironic and hurt vision about more than two thousand years the human kind are living the same decadent historical moment, and worse. In other words, Tristerra wants to be a mirror of the fool and blind human being decadence and the utopia of a better world to everybody. It might a relief, certainly a dream. Through the twilight of some dying world –after a battle without winners between the Moon and the Star and their bastard brothers of the Cross troops (all of them sons of the Heaven and of the Sinister Faith), the gloomy cry of the slaves propagates on the road to Hell. In the Definitive Night, Lucifer shows us the charms of his Light, meanwhile the Death spreads her eternal hand to hold us.
