My name Synthia comes from my passionate love of synthesizers.I’m totally addicted to them.I compose everyday and collect these amazing instruments.I also love programming them.I spent hours in my studio on my own as I’m abit of a loner.
I don’t use computers or sequencers in my music.I always play "live".I want my music to be fresh and organic.
My dream is to visit the factorys at Roland and Korg in Japan.
I featured in the Future Music mag in May 2002 where they showed some pics of my collection and interviewed me.After that I appeared on the "Richard&Judy" show on Channel 4 here in the UK.They showed a video clip of my studio and then interviewed me live on TV.I played my Triton a few minutes. That was a fun day but nerve-wracking at the same time.
My love affair with the synthesizer started in 1998 when I first bought the DX7,afterwards came a D-50 etc. Before than I played on cheesy home keyboards. Then one day a Korg mag came through my door and it had the Triton on the front cover.WOW,I was smitten by the look of this silver sexy beast with the big blue screen.I saved like mad, sold all the old stuff and bought my very own Triton.By then I was truly addicted to synths. After the Triton I bought the Trinity,Z1 etc.
Now I own Korg OASYS,RADIAS,Triton Studio,Triton classic,MS2000,Karma,Trinity V3,Z1,Wavestation ex,M1,Poly 800 with reversed keys,
Roland V-Synth,Fantom S,JP8000,D-50,Juno-106,
Yamaha Motif XS,AN1x,CS2X,DX7
I used to have many more but sold alot to get the fantastic Korg OASYS.
I sold my Motif ES,Fantom FA76,SY55,U-20,DX7mk.II,Poly 800 mk.II,DJX etc.
I want to meet other synth fanatics specially OASYS owners.

Hello Synthia, Thanks soooo very much for your friendship on MySpace !!!! Now I Can Return More Often and Lovingly & Lustfully Drool Over All Of Your Wonderful SYNTH Pictures. I am so very happy to make your aquaintance here on MySpace !! Sincerely and Best Regards, Mickey
Recently, I added a new song to my music player called, "Always" which might be one of the best songs I've written so far. Tthe chorus was scored for an entire violin section, however, in studio, I had one violinist, Jan "Yes I Can" Sullins. I asked her to single handedly create the sound of a "Hollywood style" string section. This is almost like telling someone, "Please jump rope one handed 10 times while monkeys nip at your feet."
Lucky for me, Jan worked some magic and now you can hear it on track 1 in my music player. It's called "Always" and is from my upcoming album, "Awakening," to be released June 16th.
Hey Synthia thanks for the add. I love synths, and if you don't want either a korg or roland then i will gladly have one, or even one of the casio synths.
