Finally, my latest post on mental_floss is available for your reading pleasure. If you go to mentalfloss. com you will see my name right on there as the main article. In case you read this after the main article has been switched, here is a link to the story:

Famous American Streets:

Now if you read it, that's awesome.
Just clicking on it helps, but if you have a Digg account, that will really help. Please Digg the article, so I can get an extra little bonus for ye olde wedding fund.

Thank you!

The Trip Fives Kansas City's best improv troupe — and likely its best ongoing comedy show — the Trip Fives do what they do without hassling the crowd. You won't be asked to shout out the names of celebrities, you won't be begged for applause and you won't be fed predictable games or suffer stale barbs about Fred Phelps or the Royals. Instead, you'll see five of the quickest comics in town joined together like a Voltron engineered to bring you nothing but the funny. The Fives perform all too rarely, and almost always to packed houses, so reservations are encouraged. 8 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at Westport Coffee House, 4010 Pennsylvania, 816-678-8886. Why all the drama? We all know Trivia will continue to live on. Although never as good as when Sharan was there... I will miss her sexy, bitchy ass!

Math is hard...
I just now read your thoughtful comment. In response...
It has not been determined that ALL precancerous changes are linked to HPV, although research indicates that is most likely the case. Also, not all pap tests directly check for HPV. The traditional slide pap test screens for abnormal cells that MAY be linked to HPV, but the lab is unable to determine if HPV is present in the slide sample. On the other hand, with the liquid based pap, the lab can specifically identify if HPV is present in the sample. Take that, "Hector Corrector."

Your peasant trivia is weak!
Math is hard!

Mar 20 2007 6:52 PM

Oh, and not to be a Hector Corrector, but the 'pap smear' (papanikolaou test) does indeed screen for the precancerous changes caused by HPV (human papilloma virus)...
One of the lofty teams of trivia clash gave HPV as their answer last week and were not considered for the points...
heeee, just wanted to point that out
Math is hard!
