Its time for the 2008 TRIVIA TIME! TOUR SHIRTS! They're free! All you need to do is turn your team sheet over and write everybody's name present on the team at the bottom, take it along with the team members up to the DJ and have them validate each sheet. Collect 5 from different rooms and everybody gets a really cool collectible shirt. Its just one more reason to come out and win trivia!
****************************************************************
Many venue owners and players have asked for a firmer cheating policy and after much thought and consideration the following policy has been adopted by Trivia Time! and the DJ's must follow it.
DJ's have been instructed to dock 10 points (20 in the Double Down) WITHOUT ADDITIONAL WARNING if any member of any team is using an electronic device at any point during the game. This includes at the table, outside, and in bathrooms. If you need to use your phone see see your DJ and he or she will let you know how to avoid costing your team the game.
We regret that a few people have made this policy necessary and hope you will understand our efforts to keep our game fun and fair for everyone.

The Pennant!!! Who has the Best Team in Nashville???
Teams can compete from all over town where it currently resides, and if a visiting team wins that night, we will move the Pennant to that team's home location, where the Pennant will be hung over the bar or at some prominent place where everyone can view it with pride and envy. *Visiting teams must announce to the DJ before the game that they're playing to win the Pennant* We will keep the pennant location updated, please check the calendar for that venue's game night & time.
Enjoy, and good luck!

Does your team have a great Trivia Video? Send it to us and we will share it with all the teams in town.
Wow another week of the pennant at my favorite bar, Sam Hills! I was in Atlanta and worried that someone may march down to Columbia and steal the pennant while I was away. But I see some of you learned exactly what I knew all along: there are some damn smart folks in Columbia! Guess it has something to do with the close proximity to the Boogie Bungalow, my 2nd favorite bar.
Looking forward to seeing all our good friends in Columbia!
Wow great game tonight, thanks to the Nashville teams that showed up. As for the pennant it remains at Sam Hills in Columbia, and it sure looks good hanging in our place. I guess thanks are due to the Immortals and we hope proper acknowlegments have been made accordingly by all who lost it.
These country bumkins do love a challenge and we accept that your just city folks, but we do hope to see more of you down here putting forth your best effort for our pennant, its here for the taking, but you will have to earn it.
Wow, talk about a lot of crying and sour grapes. For those of you who measure your penis size by the number of victories you can rack up in a trivia game, a word of advice: Get over yourself! LOL.
It is obvious we beat whomever had the pennant, and regardless of your biased score keeping, we ARE victorious in numerous locations. We have won at your precious Corner Bar, which is my favorite place by the way. Shot out to the staff there!!
Perhaps you should uproot yourself from that barstool and go get the pennant if you want it so bad. Sam Hill's is a fun place to play, aside from the distance; its one of the better locations in general. We are going to Beer Sellar tonight where you got your perfect game, congrats by the way, and its too bad you won't be there to get your ass spanked. Win the pennant, and then we will have a reason to come and beat your team wherever you take it to.
And for history boy, I think Machavelli actually said: "Those that can, do, and those that can't cry like girls". Maybe that wasn't Mach at all though.
LOL--I had to respond to all of this "crowing" going on the board this past week from the "Immortals" team. Congrats on your 2 point victory, however, A couple of observations/facts.....
1. I see that the 2008 Trivia Time Pennant has made its way down to Columbia by a team that has played there less than the fingers on one of my hands--and get this, has yet to be victorious at their beloved home bar!
2. This past Monday, at Spanky McGee's--half of the Sin Wagon team placed third there against the "Immortals", who once again---FAILED to place.
3. I am EXTREMELY confident that if you look over the past months and years, The Sin Wagon has consistently finished higher over the so-called great "Immortals" team. If you would like to argue this--go to Corner Bar at Elliston Place and look at the 2006 AND 2007 pennants displayed there, courtesy of THE Sin Wagon and all other teams that play their every Monday night! Don't forget to bring your popcorn...
4. Finally, Be Careful of your "Crowing" of your accomplishment--all this means is that you will need to defend the pennant EVERY single Sunday in Columbia and know that the Sin Wagon, who will be coming this Sunday, or any number of VERY strong teams (you know the ones you hardly ever beat!) will rightfully take it back to Nashville. Deep down YOU know it is going to happen. And WHEN that occurs---Good luck and Hugs and Kisses in trying to get it back!!!!
Well I hate to point fingers, but Sam's Hills at Columbia is our favorite bar. Non smoking, delicious food, ample space, great competition, and an excellent trivia DJ. If other venues worked as hard as Sam's Hills does then they might see me more frequently.
Regardless of the location the fact remains. The Immortals once again took battle on someone's else turf and won. To quote a great movie. We drank your milkshake. We drank it all up.
So now we have your pennant. Care to come to Sam Hill's and take it from us? Be careful, you might just find a trivia venue that is irresistible.
Ol' fat neck's out of town again. Ill be gone a week or two, hope to see ya soon after though!! Im gonna have to pull my team together and show your other players how to righteously win that pennant!...lol
