Hell Of the North West Alleycat Race: A serious race around the city, reminiscent of the Hell of the North due to the route containing cobbled streets
For more easy going fun loving riders we have the Hell of the North West Alleykitten. Ride in pairs around the city on a bike treasure hunt. Ride kids bikes or shoppers.
Come in Hipsta fancy dress. The person to get most in Hipsta Bingo will win a special prize!!!
Saturday 18th April 4pm The Sugden Centre Carpark, off Oxford Road Yo Fixie! A fixed only comp with events inc. Trackstand, Skid, Elimination Race, F.I.X.E.D etc.
With outdoor bar and DJ playing tunes all afternoon...everyone welcome to participate or hang out
Later we move the DJ and the party inside the backroom of the bar til late...

Hello European Bike Polo Teams We're glad to invite you to the first European Hardcourt Bike Polo Showdown. The Tournament will take place on the 18th of october as a part of the Bicycle Film Festival in Zurich. We have confirmed registration from all over Switzerland, Germany and the U.K. Of course the main challenge will be to beat the current european champion Team Basel. We will play in a big warehouse so you dont have to worry about weather and temperature. Besides Polo and the Movies there will be other Bike Messenger related stuff going on all over the weekend. So we promise that the journey to Switzerland will definitely be worth it. If you're interested in entering the Bike Polo Tournament please write an email to jerome@thiriet.net to register. The Sandbar have very kindly agreed to putting on an amazing "street party" type thing at the back of the bar, with a dj and outdoor bar, during the Yo Fixie event so even if you haven't got a fixed wheel bike you can come down and watch the others and socialise with other bike lovers.
