STC(Salina Town Cew) began as a childhood friendship. Dead Poet and Dip found their true talent at the age of 16. Unlocking a way to express themselves through a simple 4 track recorder in their hometown Salina. Their love of music grew quickly with influences like Wu-Tang and Tupac.
Moving to Manhattan, to attend Kansas State University, they found themselves in the spot light performing during the freestyle sessions at their long time friends Pomeroy shows. The reaction of the crowd blew them away….they knew they were on to something great.
With the dream at hand they soon started recording with Tough Guy Productions who produced their third album Mid-West Rida’s.
With CD requests coming in through their internet site they soon found themselves recording in Colorado.
After recording an album at their home studio in Fort Collins (Blind Assassin2004) ....Again, in 2006, STC found themselves back in the recording studio in Denver only to record 2 songs before deciding the studio didn’t have what they were looking for.
POETIC DREAM(1st Solo Album) was released in 2008, this is a transitional album as you hear Dead Poet speak of his transformation from dealing with his parents death through his perspective from over tha' last decade of pain and hardships.
Dead Poet is focused on his 6th Album(2nd Solo Album). This will be an Insipational Album. Don't worry their will be more STC songs in future projects.
