About me: Troika Ranch is the collaborative vision of artists Mark Coniglio and Dawn Stoppiello. Established in 1994, Troika Ranch produces live performances, interactive installations, and digital films, all of which combine traditional aspects of these forms with advanced technologies.
The company is currently working on a new work entitled LOOP DIVER. Loop Diver has been commissioned by the Lied Center for Performing Arts in Lincoln, Nebraska, which is located on the campus of the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. They were one of only eight campuses to receive support this year from the Creative Campus Innovations Program (funds from the Doris Duke Foundation). The focus of the grant is to use an arts group like Troika Ranch to act as a catalyst to bring together departments on a college campus that would not normally interact creatively. During several residencies at the Lied Center over the next two years, we will develop the piece, culminating with the premiere in October 2009.
