...... .. Well, the history of TROJNE is pretty dull and uneventfull.But for the few who do care,here we go: .. Micke Börjesson (Me) and Tobe Danielsson were ol' friends from grade school in Hjulsta,the northern part of Stockholm and formed TROJNE in '81. .. .... HJULSTA : Home of TROJNE .. After years of attending a bunch punk shows in Stockholm around 78-80's.Places like 4:an,6:an,Oasen,Brygghuset,Musikverket and some other "odd" places were great to check out bands like USCH,Alarm X,Snutslakt,Bitch Boys,Grisen Skriker,Brända Barn,Spion 13,Katz and Ebba Grön... .. But before TROJNE ,I played drums in a local band RatAss '79-'81(RatAss later changed names to Drugs65 and finally Delay65) for a few years with Johnny W (later vocalist in Skintrade) but we split up in early '81. Even though we started with a raw/punk sound we ended up sounding like Swedish TeenPop band Noice.(help!) .. .. ......MICKE ...... TOBE .. I also had another sideband as a drummer/singer: The Soundkillers,but made no progress. I picked up a guitar,even though I couldnt play it very well I wrote some songs and sold Tobe my old drum kit.Now...now,we needed band members. .. Our first guitarrist was Kjell,but he had trouble keeping up with the speed.It just did not work out.We wanted another guitarrist, and friend Pata from local band Erektion/Dirty Living/Cannabis and his brother Micke joined the the band. .. ...... PATA ......NYBERG .. With that line up we played a few shows in Stockholm and recorded the 1st EP: Varfor Krig in 1982.The EP was released in '83 ,a 1000 copies in blue vinyl. .. .. .. Nyberg (a close friend and fan) replaced Micke L on bass. in early '83. Nyberg added inspiration and speed to the band but a lot of personal problems led to a gig or two without him,leaving us with 2 guitars and no bass. A couple other bass players tried out,but i guess no one could stand playing with us...And eventually Nyberg came back. .. In 1984,Pata had left the band to join Avfall/Silvias Juveler,so as a 3-piece band ,TROJNE released the "Who Gives A Fuck Anyway" EP. A couple studio tracks including "Jag Hatar.." "Ner Pa Huk..."were done but never released . .. .. .. Varning For Punk was a huge compilation of Swedish Punk released in 1989?by Rosa Honung/Agg Records.A 3 disc set of awesome bands. There you can find 4 Trojne songs: "Jag Hatar..." "Varfor Krig" "Problematiskt Barn" and "Olle the Murder". .. .. When Pata did join the band again in 85,they went back in the studio to record "Lesbiska Libaneser" "Jag Hatar..." "Moster Missfoster" "Samma Kött" and "Instrumental Dance",again nothing made it to vinyl. .. TROJNE shared stage with many great Swedish +International punk/postpunk bands,like ASTA KASK,Köttgrattorna,Existenz,Stockholms Negrer,Avfall,Mode -82,INSEKT, Olga Benbrott,Revolt,Orrgan,GUN CLUB and many more..... .. .. .. .. .. After years of going back and forth and Tobe trying getting the rest of us to put a little more effort to the band,rather than party,he made no progress. In '86 they were back in the studio to record "Leker Me Elden" and "Galna Kameler",but again it did not make it to vinyl. In '87 Trojne split up and I left Sweden for California. .. Pata later joined Sold Out Sweethearts, and I had a small sideproject including me and Stixx (ex- Shotgun Messiah) was POWER FK (POWERFUCK) ,were Trojne songs were redone and with English lyrics. .. .. .. The 3 longwaited (?) vinyl EPs : LESBISKA LIBANESER JAG HATAR Leker Med Elden is to be released in 2009 as well as a small CD compilation. .. Also in the works are some re-recorded TROJNE songs that never made it on to tape.Hopefully they will be released in 2009 on Limited Ed. vinyl as well.
