trondheym operates in the now, without losing their connection to the timeless tradition of music.
by creatively using electronic media of the 21 century (i.e., computers, an electric guitar who’s sound gets thrusted through countless effect units and live video) in combination with the natural and more classic sound of the bass clarinet, trondheym creates a unique sound that can mesmerize a younger, more experimental audience while impressing the open-minded yet more traditional music fan with an innovative mastery of improvisation.
berlin's internationally-influenced jazz scene, as well as its’ countless variety of larger and smaller clubs, and their sometimes very-free-spirited music programming, not only left their footprints in the process of the composition and production of the music of trondheym, but also in the process of the selection of the sounds, noises and harmony that are infused in the music.
a selection of well-known members of the berlin music scene have taken part in trondheym's third album stay tuned, which was released by nrw records in october 2009, including berlin-based, israeli singer ofri brin, and alexa rodrian, who is signed to nrw records as well.

durch den kreativen einsatz der elektronischen medien des 21. jahrhunderts, wie computer, einer durch zahllose effektgeräte gespielten elektrischen gitarre und live video, in kombination mit dem eher traditionell-holzigen klang der bassklarinette, kreiert trondheym einen eigenen sound, der sowohl ein jüngeres publikum in seinen bann zieht, als auch den aufgeschlossenen, traditionellen musikfan durch einen neuen umgang mit der improvisationskultur beeindruckt.
die musik von trondheym ist hörbar duch die agile, sich ständig verändernde musik- und clubszene in berlin, und duch die multikulturelle vielfalt der hauptstadt beeinflusst.
sowohl die grosse, international geprägt jazzszene berlins, als auch unzählige grössere und kleiner clubs und bars, und deren teilweise sehr unkonventionelles musikprogramm, hinterliessen Ihre spuren beim komponieren und produzieren der musik von trondheym, und bei der selektion der an der musik beteiligten geräusche, grooves und harmonien.

mweiooje - open stage for free music will take place in it's fourth edition on June the first, next Monday! After last time's success we are heading for the next great evening of improvised music where we'll once again try to make the border between artist and spectator vanish, at least make it appear vaguer than usual. So if you got any musical ideas you think you could share with us, perform at ours, come along next Monday for another great Open Stage! (But you of course are as well welcome as a spectator, maybe it will get you)
