About me:

I'm a keeper... If you truly want to catch me, you probably will. And when you do, I'm yours, will stick with you and support you for as long as you do the same for me.
I have a screwy, obscure sense of humor, one rife with dated referenses. I also get a real rush from seeing people, well... grow. Figure it out, whatever "it" happens to be at the moment.
I may be a Scorpio, but I'm right on the cusp, Oct 28th... Makes me a bit more aware of the whole concept of balance. Bah, "aware" is an understatement; most of my self-improvement goals are build on it.
I'm currently out on the question of "faith"... religion doesn't seem to really apply any more, so I guess one could call me a spiritualist. My interest in Buddism/Shintoism helps in that regard. As does my Iaido, Kempo, and Jujutsu (Martial Arts).
Frustratingly, I'm almost socially barren at the moment. Ugh. At least I've been getting little bits of practice here and there, so my social skills aren't completely dried out. *sigh* Then again, half the problem is all the time I still blow away on computer games and role-playing games, plus assorted anime and manga, which really doesn't help.
Though once I've made friends... really made friends... I try my damnest not to let go. Doesn't mean I still don't screw up from time to time .

Who I'd like to meet:
A woman who is patient enough to work with my social difficultlies, but at the same time won't put up with any of the self-defeatist cr@p I sometimes fall into.
Being witty is a plus, but she doesn't have to be. Also, it has to be wit for humor's sake; a woman who mocks everything around her, even the things she knows are important to me, well... that's a real turnoff.
Shared interests would also be a plus, but it's not necessary if both of us are willing to work with the other, to share and teach and guide each other through doors one knows well, but is completely new to the other.
As for stuff to do together... dinner-movie is ok, but dinner-dancing is cool, and dinner-concert or dinner-theater is even better. When I say concert, I mean orchestral :) And when I say theater, off-Broadway is as good as on-Broadway to me. Less crowded, too ;)
As for what I can do for the Missus, well... I'm open and willing to learn. I try to be adaptable, to fill whatever nitch it is that I've found. I'll do my best to work with you and learn how to please, as well as be pleased.
