Sounds Like
The only singer I really sound like is Duane Jarvis, and the resemblance is uncanny. One time we were watching "The Rookie" in a movie theater and one of his songs came on ("There is a Light"). My family thought it was me singing. Too bad I didn't sound like somebody a little more well known, like maybe Michael Stipe, but I sure like Duane Jarvis! And Warren Zevon!
Help, I'm a musician trapped in the grueling life of a middle-aged community newspaper editor. You can help this sad situation by listening to my songs and lavishing me with praise (but only if you mean it). The recordings here are mostly B&B jobs (basement and bathroom) done on a four-track cassette recorder, with an occasional live recording thrown in. In case you're interested in a long-form version of my musical biography, just CLICK HERE and you'll be whisked away on a whirlwind tour.
Becky Schlegal July 17th... before she moves to Nashville... a voice like Allison Krause... a face like an Angel... and a companion who is smooth on the strings.

Sage Keffer .com PS Country legend, Lee Roy Parnell, just left me a great note. See my top blog. It's incredible to get such a great endorsement from him!
hey Randy... we're playing at the Freight House May 1 & 2nd, I'd love to run into you... the next house concert is more pop than I'll ever get to the house... Allison is wonderful, and bringing a great acoustic guitarist who sounds like Kenny Rankin. A Wednesday will mean my first mid week concert, wish me luck, I'm even considering advertising in your paper... Cost?
Thanks again for all the help... the snow might have dampened the audience, but it was a great turnout... AND... Norah & Brian were absolutely wonderful.
