Robin Trower: guitar - James Dewar: bass, vocals - Reg Isidore: drums.
The members have changed slightly over the years, but this was without a doubt Robin's best band. Current line-up is Robin's good friends, Dave Bronze: Bass, Glenn Letsch (formerly of Gamma): Drums, and Davey Pattison (formerly of Gamma): Vocals. Each independently accomplished musicians in their on fields. For you Davey Pattison fans as I am, check out his website, www.daveypattison.com . There you will find information from his days with Gamma to present with Robin. If you do not have Davey's two lastest solo projects, "Mississippi Nights" and "Pictures", they are a must in anybody's rock collection.

Robin Trower is indeed one of the great guitar soloists in rock and roll. In his heyday of the early- and mid-1970s, Trower garnered the same esteem and prestige as the great players of the time: Page, Townsend, May, Beck and the lot. Although he never reached the same pinnacle of fame as many of his peers, Trower still forged a respectable body of work and won the devotion of a sizeable number of rock fans.
The thing that sets him apart is his unique style and guitar sound. To many, Trower's playing seems greatly influenced by Jimi Hendrix, but this is much too simplistic an anlaysis. Although he was inspired by 'Drix's approach, Trower's mix of blues, psychedelica and sheer power was largely his own creation. In fact, Trower only once saw Hendrix live, and was more impressed with his passion for music than his particular style of playing.
The mainstay of Trower's magic has always been his Fender Stratocaster. He is a dedicated Strat diehard who has rarely used another guitar (he was introduced to the Fender in the late 60s by Martin Barre of Jethro Tull fame). The wide tonal sweep of the Strat allows Trower to range from a punchy, piercing bite to a throaty growl, while maintaining a clear precise sound.
Born on March 9, 1945 in London, England, Trower's career has spanned more than three decades. In his early playing days, from 1962 to 1966, he formed various bands in London and dabbled in minor chart success. Later, in 1967, he joined Procol Harum where he remained until 1972. Then, in 1973 he went solo. He released an average of one album per year throughout the rest of the 70s and into 80s, taking his place among the ranks of guitar superstars.
To this day, he still makes records (or CDs if you will) and retains a loyal legion of admirers. Mostly, he is thought of as one of the powerhouse players of the golden age of hard rock.
The saddest and most important for us all is the passing away of James Dewar on May 16, 2002. Our condolences and shared sadness go out to all who knew or admired this great man. He will be remembered and regarded one of the finest singers in rock and roll history.........................................

"Inspired by the classic guitar driven blues rock of the late 60's
and 70's, UK power trio Devils Creek seem intent on keeping alive the
time honored tradition first forged by greats such as Rory Gallagher,
Alvin Lee and Ten Years After and Status Quo years ago.
Formed in 2006, led by guitarist/vocalist Guy Rosewall, featuring a
crack rhythm section in bassist Tim Chapple and drummer Alan Ibbotson,
their 2008 debut album 'Bullfrog Blues' combined a classic approach
with an attack favored by heavy rock, particularly evident in the ultra
heavy bass sound not normally heard in the genre.
Featuring a hard driving electric version of Rory Gallagher's "Seven
Days" which would surely make the late great Irish guitarist proud, the
entire offering is a solid testament to the enduring power and
influence of blues inflected rock - especially the variety in which a
wailing Fender Strat comes front and center.
Now in the middle of sessions for their second studio album, several
tracks being already available for preview on the band's MySpace page
it's quite clear based on the fresh evidence on display that these
three aren't likely to stray from their vision any time in the
foreseeable future" - (Nightwatcher's House of Rock November 2009)
