Troy nace en Santiago de Chile el año 2006 cuando los hermanos Cristóbal y Jorge Aedo, quiénes en el transcurso de su vida siempre estuvieron ligados de una u otra forma a la música, quisieron desarrollar su proyecto musical basado en una propuesta nueva de Rock: Guitarras intensas mezcladas con una gran Voz. Toman contacto con Matías Acuña, J.J Vallejo y Álvaro Paredes, para desarrollar su primer disco llamado Agosto 16. Agosto 16 fue grabado por el Ingeniero en Sonido Javier Bassino, producido y mezclado por el connotado Productor Mariano Pavez, Editado por Emi Music Publishing y Sony BMG. Este disco es una fiel representación de los múltiples gustos musicales de cada uno de los integrantes, en donde podemos destacar como fuertes influencias, el Rock Americano de fines de los 90, como Stone Temple Pilots, Creed, Foo Fighters y la vanguardia del Rock Inglés como Muse. De Agosto 16 podemos destacar sus dos singles: Volver a Empezar y Dos Corazones. Videoclips que estuvieron rotando en cadenas de televisión internacional como MTV, MUCH MUSIC, TELE HIT, RITMOSON LATINO, VIA X., así como también en radios de regiones y Santiago de Chile. En el transcurso del año 2009, Troy es endorsado por la marca Vans y además el disco Agosto 16 logra tener distribución online por Portaldisc.com. A fines del año 2009 J.J. Vallejo deja de pertenecer a la banda y es reemplazado por Felipe Sepúlveda, así es como la formación actual de Troy es: CRISTÓBAL AEDO (voz y guitarra), JORGE AEDO (coros y guitarra), ÁLVARO PAREDES (bajo) y FELIPE SEPÚLVEDA (batería y secuencias). .... =">.... Troy was formed in Santiago, Chile in 2006 when the brothers Cristóbal and Jorge Aedo, who in the course of their lives were always tied of one way or another to music, wanted to develop their own musical project based on a new offer of Rock: intense guitars mixed with a great voice. They take contact with Matías Acuña, J.J Vallejo and Álvaro Paredes, to carry out their first album called "Agosto 16". From "Agosto 16" we can emphasize two singles: "Volver a Empezar" and "Dos Corazones". Videos that were rotating in channels of international television like MTV, MUCH MUSIC, TELEHIT, RITMOSON LATINO, VIA X... as well in radio stations all over the country. During the year 2009, Troy is endorsed by the brand Vans and in addition the album "Agosto 16" manages to have distribution online in Portaldisc.com. At the end of the year 2009 J.J. Vallejo ceases belonging to the band and is replaced by Felipe Sepúlveda, the current line-up of Troy is: CRISTÓBAL AEDO (vocals and guitar), JORGE AEDO (chorus y guitar), , ÁLVARO PAREDES (bass) and FELIPE SEPÚLVEDA (drums and sequences).
