    Having grown up in the troubled North of Ireland in the 1970s and 80s, Chaz Harley yearned for a more glamourous existence. In the mid 80s he emigrated to America, where his hopes of a career in the Hollywood film industry were quickly dashed by the realisation that his accent was completely uninteligible. Opportunity finally came in the form of a "non speaking" role in the adult film "Rhino Boys 2". The young Chaz quickly found himself in demand in the adult industry and changed his name to the more exotic Troy Malibu. Drug addiction and alienation inevitably followed until in 1989, Troy discovered 13th Century Hungarian folk music and underwent a Saul-like catharsis. He turned his back on drugs and adult films (making only a brief return in 1996 to shoot "Rhino Boys 9"). Today Troy spends his time making eloctronic music and has set up his own charity in Ireland called "The Troy Malibu Institute For Dissuading Young Men From Entering The Adult Film Industry In America" (T.M.I.F.D.Y.M.F.E.T.A.F.I.I.M)
