This page is meant for all of our faithful and loyal customers, both new and old!
Welcome to The Irish Rover
Here, in Troy New York you'll find a quaint little bar run by the Roberts family
That's us. We realize that many bars claim to be Irish, and they do have Irish roots, but we hail directly from Derry herself, and still return to The Emerald Isle on
occassion.
Ours is also, truly, a Family Bar, owned & operated.
When you walk in, you'll be greeted by a festive atmosphere, friendly faces, and, more often than not, even a brogue from behind the bar.
That would be Tony Roberts.
If it's a weekend, you'll see Gavin Roberts playing the music, and sometimes singing a little karaoke.
Paul keeps the place standing, and looking nice and neat.
Kathleen Roberts even makes appearances to keep an eye on her boys, and the rest of her extended family.
There are few places that you feel welcomed at right away.
There are even fewer where you get an instant feeling that you belong.
Here, it's what we aim for.
