Gooch started out as a basketball player lookin forward to makin it 2 the NBA, but 1 summer changed his life 4ever."I had met this rapper by the name of C-Starz in summer school and he was buzzin around the time and he asked me did I know how 2 rap I told him no," 1 writin session was all it took and Gooch found something that he took interest in. Gooch and Starz went on 2 form the group Warriorz wit a few other rappers from the Jersey City area but as time progressed Starz was the only 1 gettin studio time and Gooch began to get aggravated, "I was puttin mad time and effort into these raps but nobody was hearing me". Gooch thought that they could make things work for the groups sake but nothing changed so Gooch decided 2 part ways wit the Warriorz and go on his solo mission but he came in contact wit 3 dudes from his block (Walley Katt,Monsta Man,and ABA)."I knew Walley Katt was a DJ but I didnt know that Monsta and ABA rapped and they also did not know that I rapped",the 4 came together and formed wat is now known 2 the public as HoodFam. With the addition of another DJ by the name of X5 HoodFam is striving 2 take the rap game back 2 the promise land and with the untimely death of a fellow comrade by the name of Chip,Gooch and his fellow labelmates are more determined than ever 2 make this dream a reality.
