TRUCKER CLEAVAGE BLENDS AMERICAN COLLEGEPOP AND SWEDISH MELANCHOLY WITH A TOUCH OF BEATLESQUE MELODIES.
Formed in early 2005, Trucker Cleavage has quickly established themselves as a group with a solid reputation of writing great popsongs with catchy melodies and being a great, enthustiastic live-act. The songs have smart, ironic and thoughtful lyrics, that you can't help but want to listen to again and again.
Their simple but catchy songs have attracted new listeners each gig, and comparisions have been made with REM and Lemonheads. Recently the band has written and recorded new songs, now thriving a little more towards the joy, weird- and smartness of The Flaming Lips.
During fall 2006, Trucker Cleavage's song Imaginary Friend was an instant hit for those who heard the song, getting recognized as song of the week at Garageband.com, being played at numerous Podcasts, and most notable, played at the Sirius network radio station Nordic Rox by Per Gessle as an example of great swedish popmusic.
In 2007, Trucker Cleavage has continued to reach out to new audiences. In January, the band did their first tour outside Sweden, playing in Germany for enthusiastic crowds. In February, they were nominated as "best unsigned act" at the Swedish Indie Grammy Awards. In March-April, they entered the studio to record a whole bunch of new tracks. Then in May, they were again nominated at an awards show. This time, the nomination was for being one of the best live-acts of the year. Trucker Cleavage has gathered a lot of fans in Germany, and this fall 2007 the band will meet their fans live for a bigger tour.

Hej där! Hur mås det? Vi behöver ert stöd i Emergenza Festivalen. Fredagen den 25:e januari spelar vi på Klubben vid Fryshuset i Stockholm. Publiken röstar sedan fram fyra band som går vidare. Kom och hjälp oss om ni inte har viktigare saker för er som er katts begravning eller om ni ska byta duschdraperi.
10 säkerligen skitbra band kommer spela hela kvällen. Inklusive Urmas Plant, 21.30 entrar vi scenen. Eftersom vi bor på Gotland behöver vi er hjälp!!
