Tim Atkins: Vocals, Guitar
Chad Raleigh: Guitar
Patrick Barrett: Drums
Steve Sofronas: Bass
Influences
Depends on the week, but in no particular order:
Rock, Southern Rock, 70's rock 'n roll, classic rock, Jack Daniels, The Black Crowes, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Uncle Tupelo, Wilco, Son Volt, Led Zeppelin, Widespread Panic, Drive By Truckers, Athens GA, Spinal Tap, David Cassidy & Davy Jones,
In 2006, front man Tim Atkins and lead guitar player Chad Raleigh, established the sound that would become one of today's most promising rock bands to emerge from the Boston music scene, TRUCKER MOUTH. This southern and classic rock influenced group has been channeling their sound at clubs all over New England with Patrick Barrett delivering high energy percussion, ear defying guitar solos by lead guitarist Chad Raleigh, strong heartfelt vocals and melodic guitar work from Tim Atkins, and driving bass lines from Steve Sofronas, that create a blend of rock that is as familiar as it is their own. Trucker Mouth's live performances are only rivaled by their relentless studio work as they are constantly refining their sound. A recently released self titled album is available and has been well received by fans and press alike.
This is a band you must see live if you have not yet.
Trucker Mouth's debut album was recorded at Chillhouse Studios with Sound Engineer & Producer Eric Welsh whose credits include The Pixies, Soulive, and Billy Idol. Trucker Mouth's full length album was released in July 2008 and is available through their website, at any live show, and through most of the major digital distribution services such as iTunes.

Boubacar Diabate with SambaLolo and The Equalites to play Johnny D's March 5 A unique evening of world-class music
On Thursday, March 5, 2009, Boubacar Diabate and his band, SambaLolo (meaning Peace Star), will be headlining an evening of music at Johnny D's in Davis Square, Somerville. Through the age-old West African tradition of Griot storytelling, Diabate combines traditional rhythms with modern influences to create his own infectious style of music with trips to Jazz, Blues and Reggae. Singing in Mandeng, Bamanan and English, Diabate tells stories of common shared human experiences such as of love, life and humanity. From the first note, Diabate and SambaLolo deliver a mesmerizing and memorable performance. Diabate hails from Bamako in Mali, West Africa and is now a resident of Somerville.

Opening for Diabate and SambaLolo will be the six-piece reggae band, The Equalites from Northampton, MA. Fronted by the strong, soulful vocals of lead guitarist David Boatwright, The Equalites deliver a performance like no other anywhere within the reggae genre. With a truly original sound, The Equalites have taken reggae music into exciting new territory, reminiscent of the classic Studio One recordings that also pushed the boundaries into advanced dub, afro beat, one drop, rockers, and bluebeat. The Equalites deliver a great evening of conscious original and classic dance boogie skank that moves people to move, sweat, and sing along.
