The same man behind the critically acclaimed "Silver Album: Jay-Z vs RJD2" is back with a double mix CD for the ages celebrating a decade long career as one of the most creative DJ's in Hip-Hop. Packed to the rim with remixes, mash-ups and re-edits, Progressive Retro will take the listener on a trip through various eras in Hip-Hop in a very unfamiliar way. Bazooka Joe proves that vinyl (& cassettes in some cases) is still a Real DJ's best friend as he renovates classic Hip-Hop 12"'s by revisiting some old rhyme styles and production techniques and blending them together in a way that sounds authentic, new and fresh. Progressive Retro also features some older remixes from previous mix CD's including Black Sheep's "Love Is Love" and the Truck Jewls series.
