    Fondé il y a quelques années autour du guitariste Sébastien Douzal, ce groupe de Montpellier a déjà écumé la scène country française. Ils ont en effet participé à de nombreux festivals (Craponne sur Arzon, Mirande, Berck sur Mer, Réalcroche, la Roque d'Anthéron, Courtelary en Suisse etc...) et ont partagé la scène avec des artistes tels qu'Albert Lee, Rhonda Vincent, Tanya Tucker ou encore Ryan Bingham. Le guitariste, auteur/compositeur Sébastien Douzal est considéré comme l'un des meilleurs en France dans ce style de musique et est l'un des rares musiciens à avoir été chroniqué sur le prestigieux magazine américain Guitar Player magazine (fev.08). TRUCK STOP RULES, c'est une solide section rythmique, Vivian Peres (batterie) et François Virlogeux (basse), aux accents rock, à la guitare folk et chant lead, Marc Raynaud, auteur/compositeur et jeune « vétéran » de la scène Country et Bluegrass. Sorti en 2009, leur album « ON TRACK » a été diffusé sur de nombreuses radios et, ce qui est unique pour un groupe français, TRUCK STOP RULES est régulièrement programmé sur RTL, dans l'émission WRTL COUNTRY de Georges Lang et ce depuis presque trois ans. Le groupe figure également sur la compilation Country Roads 2 distribué chez WARNER MUSIC. La presse ne tarit pas d'éloges à leur sujet et TRUCK STOP RULES semble véritablement insuffler une nouvelle énergie au paysage français de country music. Leur nouvel album d'influence Country Alternative aux accents Americana/ Pop/Rock verra le jour courant 2012. Assurément, l'un des groupes français de Country Music les plus en vue du moment.

TRUCK STOP RULES, en quête de ce fameux « lonesome sound » revient en force avec un album de compositions originales. Le groupe qui a su imposer son style en enchainant de nombreux grands festivals après leur 1er album "GET BACK TO THE COUNTRY", a eu le privilège de partager l'affiche à Berck sur Mer avec Ryan Bingham, (Oscar pour la meilleure chanson dans le film "Crazy heart" avec Jeff Bridges). Sorti en octobre 2009, le 2ème album "ON TRACK" a été diffusé sur de nombreuses radios dont la célèbre émission wrtl country de Georges Lang sur RTL.

Quelques références: Festival de Mirande, Berck sur mer, Courtelary (Suisse), Réalmont(Réalcroche) , La roque d'anthéron, Bain de Bretagne(West country), La tour de Salvagny,Le Barp et beaucoup d'autres encore...sans oublier de nombreux clubs et salles de concert dont "Le petit Journal Montparnasse"(Paris) .

TRUCK STOP RULES, the southern french band continues its journey. After enjoying two years of touring the main country music festivals (they shared the Berck Festival stage with upcoming star, musician /actor RYAN BINGHAM, who appears in the movie Crazy Heart along with Jeff Bridges), the band decided to get back to he studio. The result is “ON TRACK”, an all original songs album (except for the only cover, the fiery “Mystery train”). The album encompasses different musical genres, effortlessley swinging from country rock to bluegrass, lush melodies to rapid fire instrumentals... Relased on oct.12th 2009, the album has already got the attention of many french radios, including the famous RTL programme, WRTL COUNTRY hosted by Georges Lang. The critics seem unanimous as to the uniqueness of Sébastien Douzal’s guitar playing who has been quoted as one of France‘s top players in country music.
