----------
Finno-english Luton-born Mia Vigar is a multimedia artist whose distinctive peculiar pop-music recently landed her a Maida Vale session courtesy of Radio 1. She has had tracks out on Twisted Nerve and Cherryade Records, has supported Badly Drawn Boy and in 2006 collaborated with David Brewis of Field Music/School of Language.
Huw Stephens, Mary Anne Hobbs and Radio 3's Late Junction have all helped get her tracks to people's ears.
Her new True Adventures Happen Inside Your Head album pulls together her penchant for bizarre and strange fiction, lovelorn letters, discordant guitar riffs and wily melodies.
_________:::::::::::ABOUT PLAYING LIVE::::::::::::_________
"In 2008 I plan to play lots of gigs, so if you have found the TRUE ADVENTURES HAPPEN INSIDE YOUR HEAD myspace because you are a promoter and wondering what I do live, hear this: I record loops using the hold function on a delay pedal and traverse the sound-seas on a single-manned rowing boat, aboard which I have a guitar and a keyboard. I have discovered that my voice, tiny as it is, fits better in the big spaces playing alone allows. TRUE ADVENTURES LIVE is a starker, more organic experience than on record, but I hope, as complete, and more direct."

If you buy it from the link above then you're buying it direct from us, the label aren't taking a cut - so its a bit like Fair Trade for struggling musicians.
International mail-order is available, just follow the instructions.
Thank you very much, and sorry for making a mess of your profile. If its any kind of consolation, we don't have a MySpace bot, so I'm leaving these comments the old fashioned way. Three -and-a-half thousand of them. My life is so exciting.
