The band was formed in January of 2006 under the name of Mass Confusion. The original band line-up was Mike Katinsky-Drums, Eric (Bear) Berry- Lead, Ken Yuschock- Rhythm, Paul Artman- Bass and Matt Katinsky- Vocals. Over the next 2 years the band line-up changed quite a bit. Bill Sosnoski was brought in to replace Matt as the singer and eventually started playing lead. Aaron “Potch” Pochakilo was brought in to play rhythm. Also during that timeframe we went through two singers. “Big Dave Johns” and Jeff Jurasich . And two other drummers. Josh Coutlee & Lenny Dunkleberger. Then in early October of 2008 an unfortunate event for one local band opened a great opportunity for us to pick up one of the area’s best singers & front men Rich Fetterolf who by far is one of the best additions to True Becoming. The other great addition being that of drummer Brian Dugan joining the band in mid December of 2008. All our musical influences range from heavy metal to pop rock combined. That’s what makes our sound so distinct & versatile. That and our love for playing and writing music is what makes us True Becoming. So if you haven’t had the chance to see us yet, there will be plenty of opportunities. We are constantly booking shows and we are about to take this area by storm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We used to be called "Mumrik" that was looking for a singer and now we finally found a singer and the band name became STM since we are working together at a distance of 6000miles from Leeds, UK to Kyoto, Japan. We have uploaded 3 songs now. Check out how it works.
