WHAT TO WEAR
Guys, choose 4-6 outfits, including your favorite jeans, polos and t-shirts. Layered looks work well for guys, such as coordinating a t-shirt with a long sleeved button-up shirt or jacket. If you're involved in any sports, feel free to bring your jersey or uniform.
Girls, choose 4-6 outfits with coordinating accessories. Layers and bright colors are good choices, but stay away from a lot of white. You could bring your favorite pair of jeans, shorts, sassy heels or a cute spring jacket, then mix it up with your prom dress or gorgeous gown for some fun and unexpected shots! If you're involved in any sports and want to show off your team spirit, feel free to bring your jersey or uniform as well.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is there any retouching included with my session fee?
Yes, minor retouching is done on all proofs. Poses that are purchased will be looked over and given extra special attention.
Can I use images for MySpace or Facebook?
All of the images are copyrighted, which means that even though the pictures are of you, you do not own the right to them. Each collection, however, includes a certain number of web sized images that will be e-mailed to you once you've chosen your poses. These will be low-resolution, watermarked files that you're more than welcome to use on MySpace or Facebook!
Can you take my yearbook picture?
At this time I don't have a studio to work in, so all of my sessions are done on location. If your school has certain guidelines for yearbook photos, e-mail them to me and we'll see what we can do!
How long do I have to order once my online gallery is up?
Your gallery will be available for 30 days only. All orders MUST be placed within that time period. All ordering is placed through a secure online photocart.
Can I purchase the proofs?
If your order exceeds $400 you will be presented with a set of 3x5 bordered & watermarked proofs.
Can I substitute something in the collection for more wallets?
No, you may not make any substitutions. Discounts are given, however, for multiple orders of wallets when purchased a la carte.
Can my parents come to the photo session/Do my parents have to be there during the photo session?
Your parents are more than welcome to come, but do not have to be there. I've found that most people are more relaxed and natural when parents or other people in general aren't watching, though.
How can I pay for my session?
At this time I only accept cash or checks made out to "Blue Lane Photography." I hope to have credit card processing available soon!
