The album features the vocal talents of BluRum13, Aina and Mr Milk, three amazingly talented
lyricists and performers who take us on a journey through true music laced with hip hop,
introducing various vocalists and musicians on the way. The single "Who's Next?" also features Natty, Mr Basista and
special guest musicians...
Music by the True Ingredients has already been featured on TV shows, Gumball 3000 and Streetball
Extreme, Channel 4, E4, the Extreme Channel, The Breakdown and Skins Season 2. They have performed live on various radio stations
including Kiss FM and
on RSR National Swiss Radio. True Ingredients were also finalists at Hugo
Boss Urban Rules Manchester 08, shown on MTV and MTV Base.
The band are based in London but are a mix of British, American, Sudanese, Irish, Brazilian, French and international artists.
Along with the "Prepare and Assemble" album, True Ingredients' members have sold tens of thousands of records worldwide
and have worked and shared the stage with acts as diverse as; Finley Quaye, Kele le Roc, Jungle Brothers, Aquaksy, Foreign Beggars,
High Contrast, Bugz in the Attic,
and the Gap Band who feature as the brass section on "Who's Next?" the single. Look out for an abundance of remixes of the single from
some of the worlds top acts
and producers, all currently bubbling away in the labs....
True Ingredients live shows feature an explosion of rhymes, flows, and music with keyboards, decks and percussion from Fenna Rhodes,
guitars from Josh Wah, bass from Millzy, drums from Steve O, and
additional brass when there's space on stage! The band have been touring hard
throughout 2009.
They hosted their own stage at Glastonbury 09 with
the Love Bullets Movement, performed in Trafalgar Square for London Peace Week, took the London Fashion Week afterparties by storm
throwing shades on all the models and artists, went crowd surfing
to people losing their minds at TMBase 09 Festival in Romania, Switzerland, Austria, France and all across the UK
and Europe to name just a few of their recent live events.
The True Ingredients will be touring the new single "Who's Next" in the UK, Europe, Canada, USA and Asia throughout 2010. Get to a
