In 2002 one of my all time favorite movies was created. It’s a classic tale of love, betrayal, brokenness lost dreams and new and bigger dreams coming true. In many ways the Count of Monte Cristo is similar to the story of Joseph in the bible. But you’ll have to watch it to see why. If you have a dream that God has given you and you need some encouragement in attaining it, this movie might just be the inspiration you need.
Books
One of my favorite books that I recommend:
The Five Love Languages ~ By Gary Chapman
Years ago I read the book The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman and it revolutionized my understanding of five basic ways that each of us give and receive love. In my humble opinion anyone who is married or who is considering marriage needs to read this book. It should also be in every high school and college psychology and religion class. Few books are so easy to understand yet so incredibly helpful when it comes to understanding the basic motivation of others in your life.
Gary suggests that all of us are motivated by five “love languages” and that the way we feel loved and the way our mate or others may feel loved could be entirely different. Gaining a thorough understanding of this book will maximize you relationships with the significant people in your life. The five love languages are:
Quality Time
Physical Touch
Words of Affirmation
Acts of Service
Receiving Gifts
If you would like to know more about the five love languages click on the book and it will give you an overview.

The Word for the Wise:
The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him. Ex. 15:2
(NIV)
Thought Provoking Quotes:
"Sooner or later you're going to realize just as I did that there's a difference between knowing the path and walking the path. ”
~ Morpheus speaking to Neo - The Matrix
Here is a sample song from David's new book:
A Lifetime of Love
How could a rose bloom without the thorns?
How could a butterfly soar without the struggle?
How could the garden grow
Without the thunderstorm?
How could a heart mend unless it’s first broken?
How could a baby be born without pain?
A mother never hated her child
For the pain she endures to give birth
The pain subsides
And all that is left is a beautiful baby
A lifetime of love, joy and wonderful memories
Ready to be made
But before the love
Before the joy
Before the wonderful memories comes pain
Intense struggle and sorrow
And so it is with love
So hold on My Beloved
Hold on through the dark night
And never give up when your pain is too much to bear
When your heart is torn
When you shed countless tears
And the sorrow consumes your soul
It’s only a sign
Of the life that is coming
Of the love that is waiting to be born
Of all the joy that is waiting for you to hold
Of a lifetime of wonderful memories
That will be yours to make
The Divine Romance: The Song of Jesus and His Bride
On Sale NOW!
You have one. I guarantee it. Deep in your heart is at least one dream left unfulfilled. Stop for a moment and think about it. Finish this sentence: The only thing I ever wanted in life was…
Whether you recognize it or not, your dream is to experience a fervent love that endures forever. It is a dream of love, planted in your heart by God to draw you into His embrace. Just as Solomon romanced his bride with singing, Jesus is singing over you and calling you into a heartfelt intimacy.
What you are about to discover within the pages of A Divine Romance is a modern-day allegory of the romance between Jesus as the Bridegroom and you as His bride, based on the Song of Solomon. Within you find a collection of scriptures taken from the Song of Solomon and 25 love songs intended to be read as a devotional. As you read each page, you will experience Jesus’ extravagant love in a profoundly new way. You will be compelled to surrender your heart in total abandonment to Him, for you are cherished like no other. You are the bride of Christ.
What is Being Said About the Book?
"The Divine Romance gives us a peek into the relationship Jesus wants to have with us, His Bride. David has done a superb job in expressing this incredible love affair. If you ever questioned the intensity of Jesus' love for you and your response to that love, all will become crystal clear through the pages of his book. It is a must read for every believer."
Minister Coylette James, Founder of God's Marketplace Ministries
What an incredible piece of work! David is not only a modern day psalmist, but he is a prolific and inspired writer. The songs between the bride and the Bridegroom paint a beautiful, modern-day picture of the sheer beauty and potential of a true love relationship between Jesus and His beloved. The Divine Romance gives us the freedom to dream endlessly with an imagination that tends to run wilder and wilder with each page that is turned. As I read through these passionate love songs, I found myself diving deeper into the heart of God in a fresh, new and authentic way. Not only do I now have a new song in my heart, but also a clearer understanding of what it really means to be the Bride of Christ.

“I will utterly consume everything from the face of the land,” says the LORD; “I will consume man and beast; I will consume the birds of the heavens, the fish of the sea, and the stumbling blocks along with the wicked. I will cut off man from the face of the land,” says the LORD. I will stretch out My hand against Judah, and against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem. I will cut off every trace of Baal from this place. The names of the idolatrous priests with the pagan priests.” Zephaniah 1:2-4 May God Bless You Today!
I can’t kick the habit, I’ve got to have it, I’ll do what ever it takes, To get what I love the most, There’s a confession I must make, I’m addicted to the Holy Ghost, I don’t drink or smoke, I’d rather sit and soak, Soak in God’s presence and be refreshed, It’s the fix I need after the trials and tests, Better than drugs, Ecstasy from above, The devil tries to remind me of my past and call me a disgrace, But I just inhale the Spirit of God and laugh in His face, I want to reek of the Holy Ghost and God’s glory, I’ll absorb God’s presence and He’ll remove every worry, It’s not wine, but I’m still drunk if you get what I mean, If you don’t, just read Ephesians chapter 5 verse 18.

Return to your rest, O my soul, for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you. For You have delivered my life from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling and falling. I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living. I believed, trusted in, relied on, and clung to my God, and therefore have I spoken even when I said, I am greatly afflicted. I said in my haste, All men are deceitful and liars. What shall I render to the Lord for all His benefits toward me? How can I repay Him for all His bountiful dealings? I will lift up the cup of salvation and deliverance and call on the name of the Lord. (Psalm 116:7-12 amplified)
I met up with a couple Christian buddies of mine and they prayed for me, and when they had prayed for me the Holy Spirit came onto me and I was overwhelmed with happiness and couldn't stop laughing. It's still kinda sticking to me, lol.
Just thought I'd share this testimony of God's goodness.
“The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you. And will say, ‘Destroy!’ Then Israel shall dwell in safety, the fountain of Jacob alone, in a land of grain and new wine; His heavens shall also drop dew. Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD, the shield of your help and the sword of your majesty! Your enemies shall submit to you, and you shall tread down their high places.” Deuteronomy 33:27-29 May God Bless You Today!
Sweet words are easy to say, Sweet things are easy to buy, But sweet people are difficult to find. Life ends when you stop dreaming. Hope ends when you stop believing. Love ends when you stop caring. Friendship ends when you stop sharing. So share this with whom ever you consider a friend. To love without condition. To talk without intention. To give without reason. And to care without expectation is the heart of a true friend... Forward this to all the people whom you consider as your true friend.
Greetings friend, Stopping by to lift you up in prayer, whatever your circumstances may be today. Here is an awesome promise from God’s word that encourages me. I hope it does you too.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
