BIG NEWS HBO: The network HBO has chosen two of Truepenny's songs from the album Straight to Video to use on the network. The first show to use the tunes will be called "TOURGASM". It is a comedy tour/behind the scenes series on comedian superstar DANE COOK. The band is very excited and humbled that HBO has chosen their music for this and future projects.
It's easy to see why the credits of Truepennys new EP, Straight to Video, read like a list of Austins music elite. Having set the legendary music scene ablaze with their stellar performances, its obvious that this exciting young band has its finger on the pulse of the alternative rock scene. Truepenny has stunned audiences alongside such veterans as The Toadies, Los Lonely Boys, Bowling for Soup, The Burden Brothers, Better Than Ezra and Flickerstick.
