True Rhythm & Soul (TRS) is a Southern California-based band that has been hitting the Orange and San Diego County music scene with a fiery blend of Latin, blues and classic soul and old school. The band was started by Tom Gonzales, Leonard Lee, and Jose Gallardo in 2002. Since its inception TRS has grown from its garage band roots and has attracted seasoned musicians with varied musical backgrounds and influences ranging from heavy metal to classic soul.
