About me:
I came to Sarasota for The Ringling Art School and stayed to be with my daughter as she grows up. Sarasota has been an almost magical experience where upon my 2000 graduation I became a muralist, faux finisher, and a portraitist, leaving time to write music and create personal paintings. My talent lies in the ability to paint anything I see with full understanding of its visual make-up and the ability to see visions under the surface when others can not. Seeing how to change mood with color and form, create balance with harmony and also the subtle talent of matching the tile and window treatments.
Portraiture is the continuing of a legacy of the old masters in the perfection of painting the human form.
Faux Finish is the art of being like nature, organic and flowing.
Murals simply give a blank wall, ceiling, or niche high interest and fun.
Any vision, any concept the client might have, I can paint. The work is about client satisfaction with equal parts personal satisfaction. If its not fun, challenging and rewarding then its just not worth doing.
