Rick Braun, Phil Driscoll, MF, Arturo Sandoval, Al Vizzutti, Jeff Tyzik, Doc Severinsen, Chuck Mangione and countless other musicians, many of which don't play trumpet...
Sounds Like
Me. To put that into context: "Blaine, you play with more musicality that any other student I've had... if you just had some technique you'd really have something!" Rich Illman - my trumpet instructor at EKU at my final trumpet lesson in 1984. Rich is now at Michigan State
I've been playing trumpet now for over 35 years. I think everyone has gifts and talents in life and I'm glad that one of mine is playing music. I am thankful for this gift and don't ever want to bury it or ignore it. I enjoy playing all types of music, but always desire it to be something that magnifies God since He has been a part of the best moments of my life.

Thanks for dropping by, I had an awesome night in Cincinnati. The crowd had an amazing energy and I loved every moment of it! You have some awesome trumpet tracks man. Back at home (in AUS) there is a really well known trumpet player called James Morrison, if you haven't already come accross his music I'm sure that you would love it.
Keep spreading the love and making the music:) Cheers Anthony
I somehow deleted all of my pictures off of my mom's camera! These are from a friend. I had some pics from afar but nothing up close and personal! Bummer!
Hi Blaine, I agree with Mikey, WOW, such a gorgeous tone and great feeling, style, interpretation, very passionate and enjoyable to listen to, fantastic playing, love the tracks!
Sincerely,

Blaine I really enjoyed your trumpet and flugelhorn tunes, they sound great, your tone is very warm and dark, nice. You remind me of the superb trumpet sound of the great Don Shire. Keep on playing the trumpet for Jesus. Cinci is not that far away, perhaps we can jam sometime! Thanks for the add. MIKEY
