Love Jazz......pretty much all of it from King Oliver to Now. Parker and Cannonball are my favourite musicians of all time. Horace Silver is my favourite composer. Don't mind 70's disco and any cheezy 70's records with strings. Love Respighi's 'Pines Of Rome' 'Fountains Of Rome' and 'Roman Festivals'. Enjoy Aaron Copland's "Billy The Kid" & "Appalachian Spring". LOVE: Louis, Clifford, K.D, Freddie, Woody Shaw, Tom Harrell, John Swana and Ryan Kisor.
Hi....I'm a Trumpet Owner/Composer from Melbourne, Australia. Although I'm a bit of a jazz tragic, I have been known to play other styles of music as well.
Some of the musicians/bands I have toured or played with include: Alice Cooper, Natalie Imbruglia, Roger Daltrey, Jimmy Barnes, Petula Clark, Peter Frampton, Hugh Jackman and Joe Camilleri's JazzHeads. Those are the famous, boring and yawn-worthy 2-chord superstars.
My most proud moments have been playing with the likes of My Band, Gordon Brisker, Wessell Anderson, Jamie Oehlers, Paul Williamson, Toby Mak, Ian Chaplin, Danny Fisher, Matt Clohesy, Rumberos, Mussikki Oy and a host of others.
As I am a terrible hustler of gigs and self-promoter, my Quintet has not played outside of Melbourne.
