Mark has been playing the trumpet for the past 10 years and has worked with many established artist. Mark started to play the trumpet at the age of 9 and was awarded a place on Pimlico Special Music Course. In those 5 years, Mark developed a really adaptable technique which enabled him to progress into jazz. After finishing his GCSES at Pimlico and leaving the school with grades on the Trumpet, Piano and Violin, Mark went To camden school for girls and studied Business Studies, ICT and Music. At the age of 15/16 Mark was hired to play trumpet in some shows. He played lead trumpet for productions of Hot Mikado, The Wiz and On the Fields. He has also plays with the Lifeforce Big Band and Hot Orange Big Band & Courtney Pine's Afropeans and currently studies with Chris Batchelor at Trinity College of Music. He has played alongside with Jason Yarde, Harry Brown, Philip Harper, Denys Baptiste to name a few. Currently a member of Tomorrow's Warriors, Mark is about to come onto the scene.......
