As you can probably tell, I am a lawyer. I also happen to be workaholic. As a representative of clients, I perform various functions. As adviser, I provide a client with an informed understanding of their legal rights and obligations and explain the practical implications. As an advocate, I zealously assert my client's position under the rules of the adversary system. As a negotiator, I seek results advantageous to the client but consistent with requirements of honest dealing with others. As an intermediary between clients, I seek to reconcile their divergent interests as an adviser and, to a limited extent, as a spokesperson for each client. I act in each case as an evaluator by examining a client's legal affairs and reporting about them to the client or to others.
In other words, I am going to do everything I can within the confines of legal ethics to ensure that my client gets a fair and just result.

During his tenure with the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office Mr. Trumpler was known for creatively and successfully trying difficult cases. Mr. Trumpler continued building his reputation as an aggressive litigator in the civil arena while working for the firm of McNeil, Tropp & Braun. After his stay with McNeil, Tropp & Braun, Mr. Trumpler returned to criminal law as a Deputy District Attorney in Orange County, California. During his career as a prosecutor in Orange County, Mr. Trumpler tried over 30 jury trials. Mr. Trumpler also trained law enforcement officers throughout Orange County in investigative techniques, DWI/DUI enforcement, and report writing. While with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Trumpler tried a number of cases with renowned DUI Defense Attorney Myles L. Berman. Mr. Trumpler was recruited by Myles Berman to run his Orange County Office, which Mr. Trumpler did for over two years. Mr. Trumpler moved with his four children back to Austin, Texas in 2006 and opened the Law Offices of Jason Trumpler.
