    I love writing poetry and short stories, listening to and playing music (played flute since 7th grade and looking to learn guitar and piano), playing in the rain, learning about strange and unusual things, and hope to one day travel the world. Feel free to ask me anything...

  • Music

    I'm open to any and all kinds of music, and I'm a huge fan of old school artists like Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Al Green, and several others. Depending on my mood, I'll listen to anything from soul to pop, but this girl's got a special place in her heart for some electric guitar. :)

  • Movies

    I love fantasy, classic horror, science fiction, and comedies. Some of my favorites include the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, Pirates Of The Carribean, Love Actually, Taking Lives, the Shrek trilogy, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Legend, Equilibrium, Transformers, and both Willy Wonka films. Most recently, I've added Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' to my list.

  • Television

    Doctor Who (on Sci-Fi Channel) and Torchwood (on BBC America) are favorites of mine...they're both so much fun and engaging to watch. And they kinda bring out the sci-fi dork in me. :) Also, I'm officially a fan of Leverage on TNT...trust me, you just have to see it, lol!

  • Books

    Hmmm....I've always liked reading, and some great books I've read are: The Bible, The Prince by Machiavelli, The Lord Of The Rings by JRR Tolkien, She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb, The Art of War by Sun Tzu, any of Shakespeare's works, and The Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis.
