But since everyone seems to have a MySpace page these days . . . we thought this would be a great place to connect with our fan base and feature some content that differs from our main website.
Well, the summer of 2008 is pretty much over but it was great fun while it lasted!! Some of the highlights:
The party at the new Samuel Adams brewery in Breinigsville, PA was off the hook. We played for 500 employees (plus their families) and the founder of the Boston Beer Company, Jim Koch was there to “meet and greet” with everyone in attendance. Very Cool!!
Both of our Musikfest appearances were crazy as usual!! At this point we’ve lost count . . . but we’ve been playing the opening Saturday night of Musikfest for at least six or seven years now and it’s easily the most anticipated show of the year. There is just something about the crowd and the atmosphere that makes it such a special gig.
The closing Sunday night of the ‘fest is usually a little more laid back, but this year the crowd came to party!! They rocked the house with us until the very last song of the night and helped us celebrate Vicki’s four year anniversary as our lead vocalist. Special thanks to the management and staff of the Hotel Bethlehem, you guys are the best!!
The only real disappointment of the summer was the dreadful weather at Easton’s Heritage Day. Four songs into the first set, the sky opened up and we got soaked!! Luckily, no equipment was damaged . . . but it took a few days for Bob’s sneakers to dry out ~ : (
Thanks to all of our friends, family, and fans all over the tri-state area for your continued support and we hope to see you at a show soon!!
