TRUTH CORRODED 'THRASH AND CONQUER TOUR ASIA 2009' Big news for Adelaide extreme thrashers Truth Corroded with the band performing across China, Hong Kong and Japan on the 'Thrash and Conquer Tour' this November. This will be the bands third tour in Asia, having headlined the Full Battle Order Metal Festival in Singapore in 2007 and last years Full Battle Order Tour Of Duty Asia ( alongside Singapore death/thrash act Bhelliom ) in Thailand, Hong Kong and China, where the band supported Behemoth in Beijing.

Truth Corroded have released two albums in Asia through Singapore based label Mourning Sound Records, 'Our Enemy Is The Weapon' in 2006 and 'Upon The Warlords Crawl' in 2008, receiving critical acclaim both for the albums and the bands live performance from online and leading print media from across the region. This will the bands first ever tour of Japan, with the band sharing the stage alongside Japanese thrashers Argument Soul and Grim Force and Australian metallers Lord.

As part of the tour Truth Corroded will be perfroming new music from the bands forthcoming album due for release early 2010. Davin Buttery from Double Dragon / A Red Dawn will be filling in for Truth Corroded guitarist Mark Lennard on the Thrash and Conquer Tour.

November 2009 - Truth Corroded are coming to Thrash and Conquer!

Truth Corroded are an extreme thrash metal band from South Australia. Over the years the band has undergone continual change, reforming in 2003 from a four piece to a five piece, adding a lead guitarist and redefining the band’s sound and identity. Returning to the original band members thrash metal roots, Truth Corroded went on to release 'Our Enemy Is The Weapon' in 2005 (released on the bands own label Truth Inc Records which now represents several Australian metal bands) The album and new direction of the band led to a growing national profile and supports alongside Sepultura, Chimaira, Dark Tranquillity and In Flames. It also led to the interest of Singapore based label Mourning Sound Records which released the album in 2006. This was followed by the band headlining the Full Battle Order Metal Festival in Singapore in 2007.

Following further line up changes, Truth Corroded released its critically acclaimed 'Upon The Warlords Crawl' album in 2008. Mixed and mastered by Scar Symmetry guitarist Jonas Kjellegren in Avesta Sweden, the album received outstanding reviews from print and online media from across the globe with comparisons to bands such as Lamb Of God, Testament and Devildriver (see review quotes below) 'Upon The Warlords Crawl' also demonstrated the strength of the bands present line up, featuring original members Mark Lennard (guitar), Greg Damon Shaw (bass) and Jason North (vocals ) and new drummer Liam Okninski (drums - joining the band in early 2007) and Corey Grieve (lead guitar - joined the band in 2003 but amicably departed in late 2008 to be replaced by Darren McLennan) Following the album’s release Truth Corroded toured both Australia and Asia extensively, performing two national tours across Australia and embarking on the Full Battle Order Tour Of Duty Asia which saw the band performing in Hong Kong, China (the first ever Australian heavy music act to tour China) and Thailand. Truth Corroded also performed alongside bands such as God Forbid, Death Angel, Lamb Of God and supported Behemoth in Beijing, China.

Truth Corroded are influenced by bands originating from the late 80's / early 90's thrash and death metal movements, such as Sepultura, Slayer, Testament, Forbidden, Kreator, Violence, Dark Angel and Malevolent Creation. Over time, Truth Corroded has also been influenced by bands such as Gojira, Neurosis, Burnt By The Sun, Misery Index, Behemoth, Lamb Of God and Mastodon. It is the bands range of influences that has inspired Truth Corroded to take the roots of the bands thrash sound to new extremes. The band’s sound is backed by the intensity of the imagery, lyrics and message it communicates - extreme conditions inspire extreme responses.

In 2009 Truth Corroded toured across Australia and will embark on the 'Thrash and Conquer Tour' across China, Hong Kong and Japan. The band has started to write new music for the next album due for release mid 2010.
