Gods Mission Statement for Us
“The Spirit of God is upon Us, Because God has anointed Us to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Us to heal the brokenhearted in Jesus' name, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; Then He called us and gave us power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases in Jesus' name. He sent us to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And He said to us, “Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece. The Spirit of The Lord is upon us, Because He has anointed us To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent us to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind. To set at liberty those who are oppressed; The blind will see and the lame will walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf will hear; the dead will be raised up and the poor will have the gospel preached to them. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Our Mission Statement is from Abbas’ word. His Word is Truth. He has anointed and ordained all of his disciples to spread the good news. Our mission is our passion. “Delight yourself in The Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.” It is the desire of our hearts to do his will, nothing else. We are completely humble and gentle; we are patient, bearing with one another in love. Are we now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or are we trying to please men? If we were still trying to please men, we would not be servants of Jesus. We became servants of the gospel by the gift of our Lords grace given to us through the working of his power. This is the gospel that you've heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven and of which we have become servants. We have become its servant by the commission God gave us to present to the world the word of The Lord in its fullness—
