Truth Ruby are a four peice rock & roll group from newcastle who would describe their music as displaying a psychadelic rock sound. The forming of the band started back in early 2004 when Terry Adler(vocals),Joel Hartley(guitar) and Casey Bellamy(drums) met down the summer beach parties at redhead and became friends, all three shared a passion for music and began regular acoustic jam outs together. It was then that terry and joel started writing original songs and as their material intensified and grew casey decided to take up the drums and the trio jammed together constantly.
The boys lived a party hard life and in 2005 alot of songs were emersing,but with some minor setbacks and other complicatons at the time it was hard for the band to progress forward. In this time they realised that they would be needing a bass player to join the group.
Shortly after at his place of work casey meet a keen bassist Lucas Campton(bass) who was looking for a band to join after his last band had just broken up, lucas was a perfect fit for truth ruby and all four boys became mates.
late 2007 the group was formed and were rehersing two to three times a week under lucas's house carving out the sounds that you now hear today...... Stay tuned for more recorded songs on this site and gigs.

ha ha ha.. hey lucas, remember that time me, lewy, you, joel n tez went to boomerang for new years and we went to lizzie beach and we were swimmin and lewy through me over his shoulder and i lost my pearl earing.. and i was devoed and you found it like 10 mins later in the water... so proud of you for doing that :) just thinking back to that holiday and that was one of the highlights ha ha.. xoxox
