.. ..this i believe.. You can tell a lot about my belief system from reading my blog. I lost a couple bets and now I have to go to church 12 times and post full reports online. My friends think this is funny but it is a giant pain in the ass. ..nuts to humans.. In a nutshell I believe that humans invented religion as a means for keeping people in line. The rewards of heaven and the eternal afterlife and the threats of hell and damnation motivate folks to do what they should do, when they should do it - whether they like it or not. Now, I know that there are many religions in the world that do not easily fit into this overgeneralized, judeo-christian-islamic framework that I’m talking about - but it sure seems to be the most popular. ..nuts to chaotic humans.. If everyone in the world really believed that when this life was over - that was the end of their existence - the world would be full of murderous thugs. For this, I am appreciative of religion. Has there been a lot of crappy stuff done in the name of religion - yes, but, the alternative is total chaos. ..mix thoroughly and bake on high for 15 billion years.. Personally, I think we are no more different or special than anything else that is whizzing along in the universe. We are complex not by design but simply by billions of years of matter and energy trying different recipes. We are the product of material, probability and time. ..down with joy and respect.. That being said, I am totally down with being righteous for the sake of righteousness. For loving each other and getting along and enjoying art and music and carefree sundays reading the paper - well, that is when I don’t have to go to church ’cause I gambled some Sundays away, lol. ..TO YOU, FRIEND I SAY.. Cheers and good tidings! Let your good deeds be their own reward. ..~.. ..Let's see, band members, hmmm... .. Well one of the first things I members is sleeping on my Grandparent's couch after a fun-filled visit. I would play and eat and visit and end up crashed out in the living room and my Dad would carry me to the car and let me lie down in the back seat, no seat belt, and cruise home to my own bed. I also members living in a trailer park across the street from O'Hare Airport in Chicago. My first word was airplane. These things I members.

..Let's see, what are my influences..... Day to day living, you know, like work and play and chores and stuff. Curiousity about existence and love. Energy, water, material, mass, volume, physics, Life, biology, the big bang, sound, temperature, stuff like that influences me and my music a lot. Life, it seems, will fade away Drifting further every day Getting lost within myself Nothing matters, no one else I have lost the will to live Simply nothing more to give There is nothing more for me Need the end to set me free Things not what they used to be Missing one inside of me Deathly lost, this can't be real Cannot stand this hell I feel Emptiness is filling me To the point of agony Growing darkness taking dawn I was me, but now he's gone No one but me can save myself, but it's too late Now I can't think, think why I should even try Yesterday seems as though it never existed Death greets me warm, now I will just say goodbye
  • Sounds Like

You know, our solar system is one of billions of solar systems that make up the Milky Way Galaxy. And our Milky Way galaxy is one of billions of galaxies that make up the universe. Someday, our galaxy will crash into, and be consumed by the galaxy Andromeda, and it’s monster black hole will devour our monster black hole. And all along, we will fret and sing – as we judge ourselves to be universes in our own right. For, you know, our bodies are made up of billions of cells and those cells are made up of billions of atoms and as the neutrons and electrons and protons collide, they undoubtedly create billions of other realities. Just (un)Like Ours And Before and After were never more. Has there ever been a collection of matter that has called itself? And known the recipe of it’s own being? Has a rock cried out to the nether worlds and bemoaned it’s ridicule of collaboration? Nay. Our choice is the burden of perpetual being. A star may bob and weave in the texture of bent space-time – but it shall stay on course. I on the other hand, and the brutal neighbors in my midst – shall smell daffodils on demand. And thrust our heads into the night sky and proclaim – “We are free! Lo, though We ride the wave of unyielding crushing force, We do so with a smile, and a fucking giggle.” Behold, oh, unchanging flow of destiny. You do not control Us. We laugh at your inevitable decay. We devour your aimless paradigm, and envy not your unloving heart. Beat, oh beat and pump the blood in your hydraulic carousel of woe. While the wise debate your unnerving chaos between the big and small – We exclaim “Victory this day, for us and our brethren. We raise our glasses – and fists – and we fret and sing as we roll headlong into the west - mocking your descent into nothingness with our own effervescent zeal. (funny, but true. As I finished typing this, my computer tripped out and tried to lose this document. I was fretting, but now I sing as I was able to somehow, against all odds, find the text file in the application data, that held these words. {shaking my head}) Nice try, Flaming Fuckwad Universe of Pain! But your attempt to knock my dick in the dirt was unsuccessful. Fuck you!

    Hey there,

    Here's one from left field...

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?

A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:

Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella

Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.

Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4

    Help to raise awareness.

Say have you checked out my web site recently?

Take care and keep in touch.

    Best,
    Faber.
