The group was formed in 1993 in city Stakhanov (Ukraine).
Who could think that a this small town turned out to be a birth place of the rock band with a fabulous name "Tsarstvo Nebesnoe" (The Kingdom of Heaven)? In the past this town was a motherland of "Stakhanov movement", but now it is the motherland of closed mines. Ok, let’s think that supplies of coal are exhausted and the movement stopped and picturesque hills of mine’s productions remained as the esthetic heritage for a good memory, being the proof that everything on this Earth streams to above.
Having been in the Sovjet Army two fellow countrymen maximalists being pen-pals dreamt of a rock band. It was a spring when they came back home on the territory of Independent Ukraine, when everything wakes up from winter sleep and acquires a new sense the band was formed. The name came itself from the TV, when one of the famous actresses mentioned her teacher. It was like a thunder in the clear sky,we understood at once it was the thing.
After home rehearsals and some ridiculous records we came out of the shadow and later we appeared on the rock stages of our town and region. It was the very beginning and became a street movement, which reminded of a masquerade, amusing play, where nobody of us had a musical education, only different musical tastes: “Kalinov most” and “Doors”, “King Crimson”, ”Grazhdanskaya Oborona”, “Led Zeppelin” and “Faith No More”.
Further it can be compared with the world history: ups and downs, disappointments, tours, concerts, suffering breakups and changes of group members, apathy, long-lasting breaks connected with departures, but there was a familiar feeling of musical ecstasy. May be those, who have felt it with every cell of tangible and intangible nature, would never give up.
Since that time more than 10 years past and the only thing that I’d like to say, that a rock group ”Tsarstvo Nebesnoe” is not a blasphemy and the more it is no a geer.
The stylistics of the group has been changing during the whole creative period. It was connected with a lot of musicians who played in the group and it was reflected in the music of this or that period.
We are aiming now to a feeling of rock music of 70s add to this reggae, punk, hard rock, psychedelia, blues and ethnic shades and we have a magical music, which can not be catched from the first time, the music of ”Tsarstvo Nebesnoe”. To put it shortly it is a mystery, mixture, eclecticism.
Everything which was recorded till nowadays wasn’t produced because of unfortunate position of stars and planets, but due to a vibration of space and impulses of will, the situation turned out as follows that we are coming up to a record of a complete album (or even two albums).
A plenty of large and regional festivals, club concerts in many cities of Ukraine. It is not the whole list of our group performances, which is not included a great number of not remarkable and wird performances, but they were important for us only on that reason, that we wanted and want to play, as we have something to say.
Dear friend, you have an honour right to hear the music of highest spheres and not to stay indifferently aside.
