I wish, but we still have a few more road trips after the Shootout. Johann's getting married in October and his bachelor party is in Miami, and Lauren's(his fiancee) bachelorette party is in New Orleans. After that will be the holidays, and the year will be over by then. We'll see if there are any cheap flights up that way and come up to tour the windy city!
It's all good. Things seem to be looking up slightly the past day or so, and I may even get the DSM back on the road if everything goes well tomorrow afternoon. That's great news, man. I wanna see some video of your next autoX meet! :) I really wish I could join in the fun, haha. What will you be doing at Chevy? Is it at a dealer? Either way, cool stuff.
BTW, do you have an extra set of either 225, 235, 245, or 255/50/16 tires, do you? =)
Hey buddy, sorry about not staying in contact. These past few months have been absolute hell, and I just haven't had time. Haha, yeaaahhh, I'll fix that as soon as I get home from work this evening. I just threw up a bunch of the people who have been there to help me with my rough times lately, but don't worry, i haven't forgotten about good ol' Steve. :)
Hey, sorry man, but I may have to turn around and sell the vent as soon as it gets here (along with a lot of other stuff). I just got done installing a new AC fan and complete new Hayden fan controller/thermostat and when I went to start the car to make sure it was working properly, the timing belt broke. I'm dead in the water right now -- no ride, no money, parents are livid and refuse to help... fuck.
Shootout may be off for me, now, as well. Will have to wait and see if anything is damaged (heard a loud "ping" sound).
Work's going well, and I even got a 5 cent raise already (and I've only worked there for three days! lol). The car is being a bitch, and I still don't have my radiator that MAP promised would be here before Saturday (I ordered it on Monday morning). I got my SS upper radiator pipe in the mail this afternoon though, and it's pure sex! I'll snap off a couple pictures once I get home tomorrow evening.
Anyway, what's new out your way? We still on for partying a couple days before the shootout? I've got a friend from Cape Cod who is gonna fly into IL and then ride up to Ohio with my buddy James and I... Would it be cool if he chilled with everyone, too? :)
Yeah, but I love the abuse. ;P That sucks. Where is your girlfriend going to school at? Either way, it's always nice to spend time with people you love -- I'm sure your week will improve.

Eh, not much. just trying to track down a new clutch master cylinder. Damn satan wont be open until Monday either, so i gotta settle for parts store special. :P
