Cancer Research UK and MySpace Impact UK are proud to announce the Breast Cancer Awareness T-Shirt Design Competition. This is an opportunity for you to make your voice heard in the fight against breast cancer.
Finalists will be selected by an expert judging panel that includes Babycakes clothing founder and MySpace icon Paul Griffiths and a creative team from global designer clothing label Amplified. It will then fall to you, the public, to vote for an ultimate winner.
The winning t-shirt will be sold next year in Cancer Research UK’s online store and charity shops. *
So get your creative juices flowing and take up the challenge!
* Please read the terms and conditions below for full details
Your challenge is to develop a striking t-shirt design that will inspire thousands to become breast cancer aware.
How you go about achieving this is up to you. Your design could for example:
- inspire others to support the fight against breast cancer
- encourage people to raise funds for breast cancer research
- communicate what breast cancer awareness means to you
- signify the hope that research gives and the importance of being breast aware
The choice is yours. We want you to inspire us!
Create a MySpace account if you haven't already done so and use the Add to Friends button above to become a friend of the competition
Read the competition terms and conditions below carefully (Important!)
Create your t-shirt design following the requirements detailed in our terms and conditions (things to look out for are: only design the front of the t-shirt, use no more than 8 unique colours, develop your design with a white t-shirt in mind)
Download a t-shirt outline using the link below and indicate where you would like your image to be placed e.g. draw a box indicating where you would like it to sit on the t-shirt
Email both files along with any background information you feel necessary to tshirtdesigncompetition@cancer.org.uk using the subject line "your MySpace user name: T-Shirt Design" e.g. Mike: T-Shirt Design
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and this year we invite you to join our 'It’s a girl thing' breast cancer awareness campaign. Do your bit for the girls and get together to have some fun while raising vital funds to help beat breast cancer.
We’ve got something for everyone! Take part in one of our sponsored walks around the UK this autumn, organise your own fundraising event or buy one of our specially selected products.
