Smirk is the brainchild of Ted Rankin--a musician from a suburb near Detroit. In his earlier years, Ted played guitar in some heavy metal/punk bands in the metro Detroit area. After the various projects ended due to either creative differences, drug dependency, or just plain boredom, Smirk was started as a way for Ted to continue writing songs and making noise.

so..........HH is now a middle eastern restaurant.....let's go there and demand opening day tickets to the tigers game...and when they bring us tabbouli we'll raise holy hell (even though i love tabbouli)...and then we'll ask them why their tape section is so small.
