Just call me, "Simply outdoorsy is all". Or as my daughter Describes me:
A "Redneck Hippie".
Considering TODAY'S definition of a Redneck, I'd prefer to call myself:
A Hippie-Chick,
Who grew up in the Country lifestyle.
The Cowboy's Ten Commandments
(1) Just one God.
(2) Honor yer Ma & Pa.
(3) No tellin' tales or gossipin'.
(4) Git yourself to Sunday meetin'.
(5) Put nothin' before God.
(6) No foolin' around with another fellow's gal.
(7) No killin.'
(8) Watch yer mouth.

North High School
Springfield, OH
Graduated: 1984
Student status: Alumni
Clubs: You were either a "prep" or a "punk" in those days. I wasn't either one. I kinda kept to myself, and concentrated on playing my guitar. I DID enjoy singing with the Choir though.
I am a total hippie. While I may not wear birks or ALWAYS smell of incense, I have the soul of a hippie.
I don't trust authority, and I do as I please. I'm willing to take a stand, even when what I believe isn't popular.
I like to experiment with ideas, lifestyles, and different subcultures.
I always gravitate toward what's radical and subversive. Normal, mainstream culture doesn't really resonate with me.
Something To Think About:
"Self-empowerment - That's learning to respect other people's music, But dance to your own tune as you Master harmony within yourself.

My Name is Tammie. But I'm also known as Tracy Black. My passion is music. Always has been.... Always will be.
I started singing in front of people By the time I was in second grade, And my dream was to become a singer. I gave up that dream to become a mother, But I still wanted to Be close to music.
In 1991, I was given the chance To learn about radio From a man that still remains close in my heart. The format was Oldies. A few short months later, I was an official 'jock' at a Country radio station That is known as WCTQ, 106.5 FM. I remained with 'CTQ from 1991 until 2003. My duties were not only Midday Air Personality, But I've also done live remote appearances, Station promotions, Radio production, Copy-work and voice- overs for local television stations. My interim duties also included that of Program Director And Music Director, Which entailed actual music programming of the station, And taking promotional music calls From major record labels.
I was also the Public Files Director, For all six radio stations within our cluster, ensuring that they were, and continued to remain compliant With FCC regulations. I've even been a V-J on a local television station, Promoting the latest music videos.
Although I left 'CTQ in 2003, I didn't leave our Parent Company, ClearChannel Communications. I remained with ClearChannel until 2005, Doing a Midday Shift On the Light Rock Station, 92.1 FM, WDDV.
Even though I've been behind the Mic, I'll always be a LISTENER first and foremost.

Lift Me Up
This road is anything but simple twisted like a riddle i've seen high and i've seen low
so loud, the voices of all my doubts telling to me to give up to pack up and leave town
but even though i had to believe impossible means nothing to me
so can you lift me up? and turn the ashes into flames cause i have overcome more than words will ever say and i've been giving hope that there's a light on up the hall and that a day will come when the fight is won and i think that day has just begun
somewhere, everybody starts there counting on a small prayer lost in a nightmare
but i'm here and suddenly its so clear the struggle through the long years it taught me to outrun my fear
and everything that's worth having comes with trials worth withstanding
so can you lift me up? and turn the ashes into flames cause i have overcome more than words will ever say and i've been giving hope that there's a light on up the hall and that a day will come when the fight is won and i think that day has just begun
oh lift me up, oh lift me up, oh lift me up oh lift me up, oh lift me up, oh lift me up down and out is overrated i need to be elevated looking up is not enough i would rather rise above
i love you. when all else fails, and nothing seems to be going right. when no words have been spoken, but there's so much to be said. When tempers get the best of us, and when stubborness takes over. i love you. above all else. if there's ever any questions or confusion that surfaces, understand that my love for you can never be shook. ever. and in the end, as stated before, i do believe that love is everything. it is enough to look past all else. to forget why the distance is there to begin with. nothing else matters but love. and the love between us is strong enough to overcome anything. i truly believe that. i love you.
hello my sister. i am not dead. :) just wanted to let ya know that since it's been so looooooong since i've been around. Hope all is well sweety. ttys. big love to you!!!!!
