Hades @ IN SONORA III Sound Art Festival ] HADES [ Horror, obscurity, identity, consternation from madness, transgression of the mind, multiplicity, censorship of the self... mind states that we tend to avoid, fear of darkness, fear of the depth, fear of ourselves... Hades is an attempt to naturalize the meeting of the individual in a conscious condition with inner states of difficult access and acceptance, incomprehension and chaos. While our mind feeds us with images, our consciousness allow us to establish different levels of connection with our inner reality. Our capacity to extrapolate thought, to observe that reality and undertake it, that make us able to annihilate the negative connotations of any mood and freely move in any natural state. Through the control of sound with motion-tracking sensors and by means of body movement, my body represents an element of consciousness that naturally moves through hypnotic, and chaotic atmospheres charged with calm and intensity at times. Digital manipulation and projection of light, video and live camera, drones, feedback noise produced realtime and cuadraphonic sound evoking the landscapes of mental darkness we are all familiar with. ] Performance+sound+concept by Sofia NM, live visuals by No Preset-2008 [ HADES - Noise performance with motion-tracking sensors TOURTURE 2007 Live in Valencia free party
