I'm an atheist, and I'm happy about it. I don't hold any ill against people that have faith in a higher power; I simply don't believe in it. My conviction in there not being a God is just as strong as anyone else's belief in the contrary.
Don't try to change me. I'm perfectly happy with my life right now, imperfect as it is. I don't want perfection. Not now. I want instability. I want chaos. I'm more fascinated by watching the glass shatter in super slo-mo than simply admiring its existence. Tumbling aimlessly is scary sometimes, sure -- but it's the most fun I've ever had, so don't you dare try to take that away from me.
I don't love (or fall in love, for that matter) easily; but when I do, I don't fuck around. My family and those I hold dear are more precious to me than anything in this world.
