TTATO Magazine Website

TTATO
This That & The Other Magazine is the local variety magazine for the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay in Alabama. TTATO covers local art, business, restaurants, culture and events. This is a free, advertising-supported magazine headquartered in Fairhope, Alabama and distributed on the Eastern Shore from Spanish Fort down to Gulf Shores.

Check our blog ABOVE to keep up-to-date with
competitions, job opportunities and much more!

For those of you who are not familiar with This That & The Other... well, to put it simply we are a variety magazine that hit the stands in October 2004 for the first time on the Eastern Shore! We are here to entertain you! If you get some useful information at the same time then great!

CONTENT
TTATO is a FREE monthly publication put together right here in Baldwin County, Alabama. We are owned and driven solely by the community around us. The content of the magazine is exactly what the readers ask for; hence the title This That & The Other.

In TTATO you’ll learn about local artists, local business owners; laugh at a few jokes; enjoy our readers’ poetry & short stories; read wine, restaurant and other reviews; and plan your free time with local events, and more.

ARTIST CORNER:
We focus on a local artist in the community. Artist can be musicians, photographers, painters, actors or even a cross-stitch master.

SHOPKEEPER:
We spotlight a local business owner by opening the doors to their business and introducing you to the small town entrepreneurs that help make this area special.

THE VENT:
This section gives YOU, the reader, a chance to let it all out! Write in and let us know what you have to gripe, praise or rant about.

VITTLES:
A restaurant review of the atmosphere and food in a local dining establishment... Often times with lots of humor involved.

I'VE BEEN THINKING:
Jim Lee writes about some of the trials, tribulations, and experiences in his life to our readers in hopes to give them inspiration and guidance.

KID'S POINT OF VIEW
Local kids write about their points of view on different subjects that kids deal with directly, or indirectly, on a daily basis.

TID BITS FOR NIT WITS:
This is probably the favorite section of all. JOKES and more JOKES. Come here to smile, laugh or get grossed out.

FEEDBACK
Members of the Eastern Shore community and subscribers are encouraged to write in and give us constant feedback. Readers of our magazine who have a story to tell, an event to promote, poetry, art, or even a rant are encouraged to share it with TTATO and have the chance to make it available to the general public.

In essence, we provide a hometown voice in modern times with a contemporary style. And we have fun doing it.

We always love to hear from our readers! If you have suggestions, feedback, requests or even complaints, we want to hear it.
