    Änderung im Vorprogramm Wir haben eine schlechte und eine gute Nachricht. Die schlechte ist, das RANSOM und KJU: ihre Teilnahme an der Gala leider absagen mussten. Dafür freuen wir uns aber umso mehr darüber, das unsere alten Freunde BRAND NEW JERSEY aus Sinsheim sich nochmal für die Gala zusammen finden werden, und KUYA LU aus Höxter Ihre Teilnahme zugesagt haben... Von Ersatz mag man da garnicht sprechen! :-) ...... .... ...... .... ...... .... .... Hey!.... Wir versuchen das jetzt mal so unspektulär wie möglich zu machen, deshalb hier die kurze Information: .. .. 20/20 VISION bzw. (ex) GENERATION FUCK lösen sich zu Beginn des neuen Jahres auf. .. .. Wir sind glücklich und stolz, zusammen weit mehr als 400 Konzerte in ganz Europa gespielt zu haben. Wir haben unzählige nette Menschen, andere Bands und neue Freunde kennengelernt. Wir sind froh dass wir all das erleben durften! .. .. Klar, der Eine oder Andere wird überrascht sein. Klar, der Eine oder Andere wird es geahnt haben. Um irgendwelchen Spekulationen vorzubeugen, wir sind nicht verstritten. Ganz im Gegenteil: Wir waren uns selten so einig, was das Beste für die Band ist, und wir sind uns einig, dass wir in dieser Konstellation die Band nicht weiter voranbringen können. Unzählige Faktoren spielen hierfür eine Rolle, aber wenn es eins gibt, was wir nicht wollen, dann uns gegenseitig im Weg stehen. .. .. Wir werden die geplanten Konzerte (08.12. Moringen, 22.12. Uslar) natürlich spielen, und hoffen ihr kommt und feiert mit uns. Den krönenden Abschluss der mehr als zehnjährigen, turbulenten Bandgeschichte wird ein großes "allesauszwölfjahrengenerationfuckund20/20vision" Abschiedskonzert am 23. Februar in Alfeld bilden. .. .. Freunde, wir freuen uns darauf, nochmal richtig die Sau mit Euch raus zu lassen.... .. .. Stay rude! Eure Fuckers .. .. .. .. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- .. .. .. .. 20/20 Vision was found in 1995 as "Generation Fuck" in Uslar / Germany. Until early 2006 they played around 400 headlining and supports shows and tours (w/ Reel Big Fish, Madsen, Beatsteaks, Green Day, Mad Caddies, Strung Out) and festivals all across europe recorded one EP and one LP "Snapshots" together with the incredible "Moses Schneider" (Beatsteaks, Tocotronic, Kante etc.) which were released in 2000 and 2003 (Snapshots) on their own small label called "KID-Records" .. .. Already in 2001 they played the Highfield Festival alongside bands like Green Day, Die Ärzte or Papa Roach. Up to now they have played 5 headliner-tours through Poland and about 400 shows in Germany, England, Belgium, Netherlands and Italy, as supporting act for bands like Beatsteaks, Madsen, Snuff, Mad Caddies, Reel Big Fish, Liquido and many others. .. .. In 2003 producer Moses Schneider (e.g. Beatsteaks Smack Smash, Tocotronic etc.) invited them to come to his halls of fame (Transporterraum Studio Berlin) to record their CD Snapshots and in the same year director Pascal Heiduk (e.g. Pale, Waterdown, Kettcar) produced the video for their song My Melody. .. .. The album Snapshots showed exactly in what direction they were heading: straight, emotional popcore with melodies that stay in your head for days! The four twenty-somethings know what theyre doing and you can hear this already on Snapshots. After all it was recorded live in only 4 days. And this is just what 20/20 Vision do best: rock any stage and dont stop til the place is smokin. .. .. And after a few years into their band history people start to realise that, which is one of the reasons the band rocked their way into the TOP 20 of the resistance-charts.dewith their songs My Melody and Wake Up and stayed there for 60 days? Plus they were the only band to be played on MTV Poland as an act without any label or distribution?! .. .. Now, on the verge of 2007 the group is readying their next effort! After 10 years of rock the band changed their name into 20/20 Vision and is preparing songs for the next album! .. .. Tough, but sexy!.. .. ..
